Dear PM
I would like to add my voice to the many who are campaigning for the release
of the G17.
We are entering a New Millennium and it would be a good time to leave the
past behind. The G17 have had 16 years to think about the unfortunate events
which led them to be imprisoned. They have served enough time and have done
so with dignity. They, their families and friends have suffered torment in
those years and we join together to ask your government, which is one of the
best, to make the momentous decision to set them free.
It would be a wonderful and humane act which would take us forward and make
the world a more forgiving and generous place for the next generation.
I pray that you would listen to our requests and be kind enough to act
accordingly.
Best regards for the coming year.
